Job Title:

*NEW* Regional Account Manager - ALECO

Summary:

Department: Sales
Reports to: ALECO Divisional Manager


Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Research target demographics, economic trends, customer needs and interests along with other data that can be used in creating strategies for business development.
  • Study each product offered by the company and be able to persuasively educate and inform customers of how each works and its specifications; also understand how to upsell and recommend complementary products.
  • Assist with the preparation of sales presentations, product reports and other valuable data to share with potential prospects in a way that promotes the company brand and helps the audience identify a need for the product.
  • Create business plans and execute contracts that meet company performance expectations.
  • Manage customer onboarding expectations before and after the sale.
  • Build and expand long-term relationships with customers and partners through consistent follow-up, reliable communication, and updates on new product/business solutions.
  • Actively identify and generate prospects through strategic sales strategies focusing on customers in target markets
  • Identify and develop new and existing referral sources to develop successful referral campaigns and relationships.
  • Collaborate with team members from other departments to identify product/process improvements, modifications or changes that could enhance overall performance and attractiveness.
  • Provide suggestions for ways to optimize business growth through the use of core competencies and employee strengths.

Qualification Requirements:
  • EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or Business Management preferred with 3-5 years of proven sales and marketing experience. Industrial, Food Service or Office Supply experience preferred.
  • APTITUDES: A balance between a creative and analytical mind is essential in this role. A strong business mindset is required to utilize market research and sales data to present profitable opportunities to stakeholders while a creative mindset will be used to actively seek new business opportunities or develop completely new routes to market in a modern selling landscape. Must be energetic, exercise independent judgment, take initiative and manage multiple priorities effectively. Projects self professionally, in appearance, actions and demeanor; confident and appropriately assertive.

  • ANALYTICAL SKILLS: Ability to evaluate sales performance data, extract pertinent findings, and refine it to key facts and action points for division team members and executive management. Aptitude for deciphering competitive market information and distilling it to actionable information for decision support.

  • COMMUNICATION SKILLS: Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to disseminate information across functional areas and to customers with tact and diplomacy. Proven record of interpersonal skills that enable close partnering with clients, vendors, and internal teams.

  • COMPUTER SKILLS: Adept with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook. Experience with or exposure to ERP systems, eCommerce platforms, and Customer Relationship Management applications is highly desirable.

Job Title:

*NEW* Maintenance Technician

Summary:

Installs, maintains, and repairs machinery, equipment, physical structures, pipe and electrical systems in commercial or industrial establishments by performing the following duties. Must be able to lift and carry equipment as well as work on elevated levels.

Reports to: Maintenance Manager
FLSA Status: Hourly/Non-Exempt

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Visually inspects and tests machinery and equipment. Listens for unusual sounds from machines or equipment to detect malfunction and discusses machine operation variations with supervisors or other maintenance workers to diagnose problem or repair machine. Dismantles defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts. Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery.

  • Installs and repairs electrical apparatus such as transformers, wiring, electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment. Be able to troubleshoot industrial electronic controls using a multimeter. Lies out, assembles, installs, and maintains pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, repairs and replaces gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment.

  • Repairs and maintains physical structure of establishment. Maintains tools and equipments and keeps supplies and parts in order.

  • Traces out short circuits in wiring. Assists in lifting, positioning, and fastening objects such as wiring, conduit, and motors. Performs minor repairs such as replacing fuses, light sockets, bulbs, and switches. Troubleshoot and disassemble defective electrical equipment, replaces defective or worn parts, and reassembles equipment. Cleans work area, machines, tools and equipment.

  • Sets up and operates machine tools such as lathe, grinder, drill, and milling machine to repair or fabricate machine parts, jigs and fixtures, and tools. Operates cutting torch and welding equipment to cut or join metal parts.

  • Other duties as assigned by Maintenance Manger and/or Operations Manager.

Qualifications:

  • To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.   • EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:  High School Diploma or GED required. Associates degree in Industrial Electricity/Electronics or 2 years’ experience in related field and/or combination. Experience with welding and fabrication is preferred. HVAC experience preferred.

  • SKILLS:  Accomplished skills in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and reading schematics are necessary to perform in this job. Knowledge of AC/DC motors, motor drives, and PLC's are required. HVAC knowledge is preferred.

  • WORK ENVIRONMENT:  Must be able to perform in multi-craft environment. Work hours vary with seniority preference and skill level. Must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Material Handler

Summary:

Responsible for supplying operators with material and packaging supplies, helping operators start up, shut down machines and help package and inspect products when necessary.  Relieves operators for breaks, weighing, tagging and segregating materials, operating granulators safely and efficiently, cleaning and care of plant.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Reads work order or follows oral instructions to ascertain materials, containers or products to be moved.  Opens containers.  Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand and/or moving devices/machines.

  • Conveys materials from storage or work sites to designated area. Secures lifting attachments to materials and conveys load to destination or signals forklift drivers or hoisting operators to move load to destination.

  • Counts, weighs, and records number of units of materials moved or handled on daily production sheet. Stacks or assembles materials into bundles and bands bundles together. Attached identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on cases, batches, or other containers.

  • Clamps sections of portable conveyor together or places conveyor sections on blocks or boxes to facilitate movement of materials or products. Removes samples of materials, labels with identifying information, and takes samples to compound for analysis.

  • Lifts heavy objects by hand or with power hoist, and cleans work area, machines, and equipment to assist machine operators. Makes simple adjustments or repairs such as realigning belts or replacing rollers.
